There’s nothing more exciting than a new baby, and if there’s one activity everyone enjoys, it’s brainstorming baby names. We all love the classic names, but if we’re being honest, it’s fun to hear about the more unique ones.

Unique Baby Names:

10. Darth. Nowadays when we hear this name we can’t help but think “Vader” afterwards. However, the name Darth was actually given as far back as 1920, only it was a girl name!

9. X AE A-12. We needed to include this one. Elon Musk and Grimes gave their baby boy this unique name in 2020. It is pronounced “X-Ash-A-12.”

8. Cyanide. This was fortunately prevented by a judge in Wales after a mother tried to name her daughter after the toxic chemical compound. 

7. Crystal Shanda Lear. Named by the founder of the Lear jet, Bill Lear, we can’t deny that it is a pretty clever idea for a baby name!

6. Gravity. Gravity Blue Smith is the child of model Lucky Blue Smith and singer Stormi Bree. Unique names must run in the family!

5. Window. According to Redbook, a child was given the first name Window, paired with the middle name Coverings in 1954.

4. Pilot Inspektor. Actor Jason Lee named his son Pilot after hearing the Grandaddy song “He’s Simple, He’s Dumb, He’s the Pilot.” 

3. Marijuana Pepsi. Although now we should say Dr. Marijuana Pepsi! She wrote her dissertation on unusual names and to be honest, it sounds fascinating!

2. Number 16 Bus Shelter. This name was given to a child in New Zealand. Something tells us there’s a great story behind this one. 

1. ABCDE. This name has apparently been given hundreds of times over the years. That’s certainly one way to teach the alphabet… or at least the first five letters of it!
