- Timing is Everything: Try to get outside during the sunrise or sunset for the most beautiful lighting. During these times you’ll be sure to capture more vivid and brilliant colors that aren’t obscured by harsh sunlight.
- Cloudy Days Are Your Friend: As long as we’re talking about good lighting; remember that sometimes cloudy and overcast days are actually good for taking photos. Avoiding the harsh lighting can work wonders for photography.
- Pick Up Some Leaves: While you’re busy raking, see if you can grab a few brightly colored leaves and keep them for your pictures. Creating your own little set up of your favorite things for a photo shoot can be easier than trying to rely on nature.
