Healthy woman jumping in air.

It's tough finding enough energy and motivation to work out. But with everything going on in the world, it's incredibly important to get moving a few times a week to combat stress and improve your mood! So, this week we wanted to share some of our favorite at-home workouts.

These workout ideas range from beginner to advanced to help you find a program that's best suited for your needs. Of course, be sure to reach out to your doctor before starting any new workout program!

4 Fun, Effective Workouts

  1. Yoga. (Beginner to Advanced). If you're looking for a low-impact workout that has been known to help reduce stress, check out some yoga videos online. Our favorite YouTube yoga channels include Yoga with Adrienne  and Sarah Beth Yoga. You can find yoga practices that last from 5-60 minutes and are catered specifically to your unique needs, whether that is stress relief, energizing yoga, bedtime yoga, prenatal yoga, power yoga and so much more!
  2. Pilates. (Beginner to Advanced). Here's another low impact workout that is focused on toning. Blogilates is a fantastic channel to try! Workouts vary in length, usually last about 10- 25 minutes each. You can also customize your workout based on what areas you would like to target. If you're a beginner, you can start with an ab workout Monday and then an arm workout Tuesday. As you get stronger, take on multiple workouts a day!
  3. Cardio Classes (Beginner to Advanced). There are a few great YouTube channels with kickboxing classes to get your blood pumping! One of our personal favorites is POPSugar. Their channel offers everything from Latin dance classes, to cardio kickboxing, and even some strength training using body weight.
  4. HIIT Workouts (Intermediate to Advanced). If you're looking to really get your heart rate up, then high intensity interval training, or "HIIT," is perfect for you! FitnessBlender offers all kinds of videos, but their HIIT workouts are our favorite! These videos typically range from about 25 minutes all the way to 90 minutes. These workouts can be intense, so if you have joint-pain you may want to try something else. Otherwise, get ready for some burpees!
