Make a resolution to take a vacation this New Year!

With the Christmas festivities happening all around us, our minds are set on cookies, cocoa, and caroling more than on the ways we’d like to improve ourselves in 2016. And while it’s great to relax and enjoy this holiday season, now is a good time to start thinking about the areas of your life you’d like to make even better in the coming year.
According to a survey, here are the top 10 New Year’s Resolutions for 2015:

  1. Lose weight
  2. Get organized
  3. Spend less/ save more
  4. Enjoy life to the fullest
  5. Staying fit and healthy
  6. Learn something exciting
  7. Quit smoking
  8. Help others with their goals/dreams
  9. Fall in love
  10. Spend more time with family

Around 75% of Americans will keep their resolutions through the first week of the year; 71% will be holding strong after two weeks, 64% after one month, but only 46% make it past six months.
So what can you do to increase your chances of sticking to your resolutions? Instead of just resolving to “lose weight,” try adjusting your resolution to “lose 15 pounds.” Want to enjoy life to the fullest? Make a resolution to take a trip to a new city instead of just “traveling more.”
