Body Butter Gifts
GiftWorksPlus knows that with wintertime comes the best holidays and beautiful snowy days that make for some great photo opportunities. That is why we offer themed photo frames like family frames, winter sports frames, travel frames, and of course holiday frames.
Despite all the things that make wintertime great, it can also come with some downsides. For instance, sometimes the weather is so cold and dry that it affects our skin – sometimes in ways you don’t expect! Here are some steps to take to keep your skin feeling good as we get into the coldest days of winter.

1. Wash with a cream-based cleanser rather than a soap-based cleanser, which can be especially drying.

2. Use moisturizers! It is easy to forget this step of the skin care process, but it is so important – especially in the winter months. Find a gentle facial moisturizer that has an SPF of at least 15, because even though it’s cold outside, skin still needs protection from UV rays.

3. Use a hydrating spritzer. In addition to moisturizer, facial spray can help relieve sensitive skin where it has been particularly irritated.

4. Reduce the temperature in your shower. While in the winter nothing feels better than a hot shower or bath, the heat can actually be a bit harsh on your skin. Try taking a warm shower rather than a hot one, and apply moisturizer right after you step out.

5. Be conscious of the products you use. Look out for skin products with ginger and red hogweed, as they can be irritating to skin. Try products with oats, which are great for calming sensitive skin.
