While they don’t use cow dung anymore, they still use frozen pucks to prevent them from bouncing on the rink.
The Stanley cup was originally only 7 inches tall; today it is almost 40 inches!
Wayne Gretzky has 61 NHL records, more than any other player. There is a reason he is called “The Great One!”
In 1993, Kris Draper was traded for one dollar to the Detroit Red Wings. He went on to win four Stanley Cups for the team!
The average hockey player loses around 5-8 pounds during a game.
In the USSR, bears in the circus were trained to play hockey!
