All animal lovers know that nothing brings more joy than spending a day playing (or lounging) with a pet. At GiftWorksPlus we love celebrating pets of all kinds, that’s why we have custom engraved frames for dogs, cats, horses, sheep, cows, pigs and more! This week we thought we would share some fun activities for animal lovers that your kids will surely enjoy.

Kid Activities for Animal Loves

  1. Humane Society Camp. If your kids want to spend quality time with some furry friends you should check out some of the human society camps available near you. It’s a great way for kids to get their animal-fix while also learning about a good cause!
  2. Visit Gale Woods Farm. A great way to get your kids out among the animals and get experience of working on a real farm is to visit Gale Woods. Kids will get the opportunity to interact with sheep and cows in a beautiful environment, while learning all about farming.
  3. Soul Space Sanctuary. Another type of farm that teaches kids how to view farm animals in a different way is an animal sanctuary! Soul Space Sanctuary has rescued a wide variety of different animals that your kids will love to see, including chickens, peacocks, ducks, kittens, sheep and more!
  4. Wild Paws Sanctuary. Another fantastic sanctuary to visit is Wild Paws. They rescue native wild animals in their sanctuary such as wolves, bears, lynx, foxes and more! Visit their website to learn more and plan a visit.
  5. Como Park Zoo and Conservatory. There’s something for everybody at Como Park. Visit all the animals, walk through the garden, see the sculptures, or ride the carousel. It’s the perfect way to spend an afternoon in the springtime.

If your kids are animal lovers they will have a blast visiting any of these camps, parks, sanctuaries or farms. You will want to take plenty of pictures as your kids meet their new animal friends, then be sure to check out our animal and pet frames at the GiftWorksPlus website.
